The EDDM program was designed for small businessmen. USPS made everything easy so that the small businessmen can easily participate in this program as registration fees are not required. Except for this, no permits are needed as well for mail volumes of at least 200, and the maximum is then 5000 mail pieces per day. The mailing cost is 14.2 cents per piece.
